Remise Privacy Notice
Remise is a private, single-user tool operated solely for the eBay account owner who authorizes it. It prepares, validates, and sends the account owner's listing drafts to eBay at the owner's direction. It is not offered to the public or to other eBay users.
Data processed
The tool processes only the information needed to manage the account owner's listings, such as the seller user identifier, listing titles, descriptions, item specifics, prices, image URLs, shipping and return settings, eBay listing or draft identifiers, and API task results.
Credentials
eBay authorization tokens and application secrets are stored in secure credential storage and are not committed to source control, embedded in public media, or intentionally written to application logs.
Purpose and sharing
Data is used only to prepare, validate, create, read back, revise, or end the account owner's eBay drafts and listings. Information is sent to eBay only when required for those requested operations. Public listing images are hosted separately so that eBay can retrieve them. Data is not sold or used for advertising or profiling.
Retention and deletion
Listing records and audit evidence are retained only for the account owner's resale administration and are removed when no longer required. Authorization can be revoked at any time through eBay. Applicable eBay marketplace account deletion requests are handled through the application's registered compliance process.
